Welcome to StudyFlow. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

By using StudyFlow, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

Account Information

• Email address (when you register)
• Display name (optional)
• Anonymous user ID (for guest accounts)

Study Data (stored in your account)

• Exams, subjects, topics you create
• Study session logs and durations
• Daily targets and completion status
• Notes you write inside the app
• Study streak and goal settings

Device Information

• Device type and OS version (for crash reports)
• App version
• General usage patterns (for improving the app)

We use Google Firebase to power the app backend:

• Firebase Authentication – Handles login, signup, and guest sessions securely.
• Cloud Firestore – Stores your study data securely in the cloud.
• Firebase Analytics – Helps us understand how the app is used (anonymized).

Firebase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

StudyFlow shows non-intrusive ads via Google AdMob to keep the app free for all users.

• AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show relevant ads.
• Ads are served by Google and subject to Google's ad policies.
• You can opt out of personalized ads in your device Settings → Google → Ads.

With your permission, StudyFlow sends local notifications to remind you to study. These include:

• Daily study reminders
• Target completion alerts
• Streak milestone celebrations
• App announcements (from admin)

You can disable notifications at any time from your device Settings.

• All data is stored on Google Firebase servers with industry-standard encryption.
• Data is synced across your devices when you use a registered account.
• Guest account data is stored locally on your device only.
• We never share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

• Access – You can view all your data inside the app at any time.
• Delete – You can delete your account and all data from Settings → Delete Account.
• Export – Study reports can be exported as PDF from the Exams screen.
• Opt-out – You can turn off notifications from device settings.

Account deletion removes all your data from our servers within 30 days.

StudyFlow is designed for students of all ages. However, children under 13 years of age should use the app with parental guidance.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you through the app (via the announcement popup) and update the "Last updated" date at the top.

Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
